I am a multi-passionate, feminist creative marketer who helps values driven business make money while making the world a better place. As an accomplished brand strategist, web designer and published author, I know a thing or twenty about helping businesses grow their online presence, wealth and impact in the world AND confidently take up space online.

As a business owner, you set out to work less and earn more… but somewhere along the way, it turned into working more and working more (and somehow still feeling behind). You didn’t start your business to work 12-hour days.
You started your business to have freedom, flexibility, and financial abundance. And maybe.. time for a mid-day coffee break (in Italy).
You have a BIG vision for what you want your business and brand to look like.
But right now?
Between the social media templates that aren’t quite right, a website that feels… off, and brand colours that are just BLAH… you technically have a business.
But it’s not the kind of business that makes people say, “Wow, she’s really doing it.”
It’s not the polished, profitable, “pull-your-perfect clients-in” bold, bright branding you know it could be.
So, it’s time for an upgrade!
Before we talk about what actually works, let’s call out what most business owners do first (because if you’re nodding along… you’re in good company).
You’ve probably:
And for 2 and a half seconds, you felt productive. “In the zone”! Until, you run into another business problem (oddly like the first one) that leaves you scrambling for the next business “hack.”
Again! Your business doesn’t feel fully aligned with what you want.
That’s because most business upgrades fail for one simple reason:
They focus on surface-level fixes instead of strategic shifts.
So let’s talk about the non-obvious moves that will level up your business!
Obviously, a brand refresh with better colours and new brand photos would be nice, but here are three upgrades most business owners skip.
Have you been on Instagram lately? Apparently, everyone’s business is doing extremely well.
Six-figure launches.
Waitlists.
Sold-out offers.
“Booked and busy” vibe everywhere.
And while that’s amazing for them… what does that have to do with you?
Subconsciously, we start studying other people in our industry and copying what seems to work. Many solopreneurs are building businesses based on what they see other people doing. Leading them to copy strategies that do not fit their capacity, goals, or season of life.
When you follow someone else’s blueprint, you build a business that looks successful but feels misaligned and exhausting to run.
We assume those strategies are the standard we must follow. But many of those strategies are unrealistic for a solopreneur, so you either:
Which is normal! This is the natural response when you haven’t clearly defined what success should look like for your life and business.
When you define your own version of success, your strategy becomes simpler, your workload becomes more realistic, your business feels more aligned, and growth becomes more sustainable!
Stop duct-taping your business into someone else’s “7-figure blueprint” and start building the business your future CEO self can sustainably operate long term.
So, journal on this:
Decide what you want from your life and business. Then, Build that.
Not the algorithm’s version of success.
Many business owners set timelines that don’t support real progress.
A one-year goal is too far away, so your motivation (and memory) fades quickly.
That’s why 30-day fitness challenges are so popular. They feel short enough to commit to.
But in business? Thirty days is too short to create meaningful business change. It’s not enough time to fully overhaul your brand’s offers, messaging, strategy AND implement all of those changes. Trying to do so will only lead to burnout and a half-finished website draft sitting in your tabs.
That’s why 90 days is the sweet spot! You avoid the two extremes and choose a planning window that balances urgency with time for meaningful execution.
Three months is:
You can clearly envision that fun, bold, colourful new brand in 90 days. The refined messaging. The aligned offer. The cleaner systems.
And because it’s more tangible, you’re more likely to take action today.
Without the right timeline, they either rush and burn out, or move too slowly and lose focus. When you work on focused 90-day goals you complete meaningful business upgrades without the burnout or the endless delay.
If everything is a priority, nothing is. Many business owners track too many metrics at once. Without the focus and attention going to one clear number tied to their goal, you spread your effort too thin and struggle to see real progress in 90 days. All of your energy gets wasted, womp- womp!
Your business will level up when you learn to choose the single metric that best reflects the result you want.
Over the next 90 days, you need one key metric attached to your goal.
Your BIG number could be:
The metric doesn’t matter as much as this: it must connect directly to the upgrade you want.
Hint: You can turn this metric into a question & ask yourself: How do I get one step closer to {insert goal}, today?
Track that metric weekly, review it, and adjust your plan around it.
When you commit to focused 90-day goals and one clear BIG number, everything starts to click. You build a business that is more aligned with you and your life.
Your business priorities become undeniably clear, your weekly actions become laser-focused and your results build week over week.
Instead of guessing what matters, you move toward a clear, measurable target, and finally complete meaningful upgrades to your business without the burnout spiral.
This is the work I help solopreneurs do.
Through strategic planning, consulting, and coaching, we clarify what you actually want your business to look and feel like, from your long-term direction to your ideal calendar and best-fit clients.
