When I started pitching my first book, a kind literary agent told me that if I ever wanted to be published, I needed an online platform.
I had one option, figure it out. So I did, and I landed a traditional book deal and grew a following of thousands.
I never went to business school. I went to school for sociology and gender studies.
And the academia bros might hate me for this one, but learning about people and power will get you to where you want to go a heck of a lot faster than being able to quote some smarty pants marketing study for why you used eggshell beige instead of sand beige.

You want to do good in the world. And I want to make it easier for you to do that. Because being bold isn’t about being loud. Although if you are loud, WHY ARE THERE SO MANY NEUTRALS IN YOUR BRAND?? (okay, rant over).
It’s about the courage to be more you, whatever that feels like. Then creating a visual presence that reflects the unfiltered side of your greatest gifts– so the right people can connect with them too.
So I mixed up my intuition, sometimes too-much empathy, unapologetic creativity, and deep dive into your values nerd side to become a brand strategist and designer.
I've been playing ice hockey since I was 9 years old. I still play today!
