I am a multi-passionate, feminist creative marketer who helps values driven business make money while making the world a better place. As an accomplished brand strategist, web designer and published author, I know a thing or twenty about helping businesses grow their online presence, wealth and impact in the world AND confidently take up space online.

In my last post, I shared about how following my intuition led to a shift in my business.
That tiny nudge led me to hire a business coach whose energy felt exactly right for meâequal parts kind, curious, and not afraid to give me the loving kick I needed.
And working with them led me towards my business name change and doing some messaging realignment.
These decisions didnât come from logic. They came from a quiet knowing (thanks intuition!).
But hereâs the thing: itâs not always easy to hear your intuition when youâve been trained not to trust it.
Patriarchy and capitalism have spent a long time trying to separate us from our inner knowing.
If youâve ever felt like you needed to prove yourself with credentials, wait for permission before making a move or outsourcing your business decisions because you’re afraid of getting something wrong…
Youâre not broken. Youâve just been conditioned.
We all have.
Because when youâre deeply connected to what you want, and what you knowâyouâre powerful.
And powerful people are harder to control, manipulate, and sell to.
The problem is, this conditioning doesnât go away just because you know better. Even now, even after years of doing the work, I still catch myself second-guessing A LOT.
But I also know that the moments that have changed my life in the best ways have come from quiet whispers. Nudges. Sparks. Twinges. Buzzes. Whatever you like to call them!
Hiring a coach didnât âfixâ me. But choosing someone who reflects back my own wisdom instead of trying to rewrite it helped me hear myself more clearly. Thatâs the kind of help that matters because no one else can tell you what you need.
You donât need a secret formula. You need to trust yourself.
For a long time, I thought I had to talk about colour psychology and technical design bullsh*t instead of standing true in my intuitive branding process.
I like to get to know you, and get a feel for who you are and then create a brand around YOU. I believe that you enjoy business most when you’re working with people that get you AND genuinely need your services. Itâs not rocket science, and Iâm tired of pretending that it is.
My way might not work for everyone, but thatâs also exactly what makes it work for the people itâs meant for.
I used to think that my way was “wrong” because I can’t always explain how I know what worksâI just feel it. It took me a while to realize that âjust feeling itâ isnât a weakness…itâs a skill.
For me, listening to my intuition is an intentional practice.
I have always heard that intuition should feel like a soft, calm knowing.
But when you’re busy hustling, performing for others, and trusting the “experts,” your inner knowing might not feel all that “calm” to you. It couldn’t possibly when the world we live in constantly tells us not to trust ourselves.
Listening to our intuition isn’t always as simple as we’re “told” it should be. And I think that’s what keeps so many of us stuck.
For some of us, listening to our intuition might actually feel a little scary at first. It might even feel overwhelmingly exciting. For me, it sometimes feels like anxiety because I’m instantly thinking about everything to make thing happen.
But at the end of the day, what it does feel is RIGHT.
I donât have a foolproof method for knowing how to determine what’s actually anxiety and what’s intuition (sorry!). But I do know that intuition gets louder when the outside noise gets quieter.
For me that looks like less time on social media (which I’m still working on!), less content consuming (these days I’m clicking unsubscribe more often than not), more pleasurable activities (like reading fantasy novels, binging tv, and listening to music), and more conscious creating (writing emails like this!).
It’s about taking time to exist for yourself.
If you google how to listen to your intuition (I totally have!), you’ll read that you need to meditate and journal. And maybe those things are really helpful for you.
But for a lot of people (like me!) they aren’t always what gets me into the state of being able to really hear my own thoughts.
The point isnât how you listen. Itâs that you remember your voice matters.
Whether your intuition feels like a whisper, a full-body YES, or a âwait…hold upââitâs worth paying attention to.
You donât need to do more. You donât need to be someone else. You just need to get quiet enough to hear yourself.
You already know more than you think.
And heyâbefore you goâŚ
